California Housing Finance Agency - The State of California provides low interest rate home loans and other help for low- and moderate-income home buyers www.calhfa.ca.gov
Go Home LA - This is an information resource site about home buying assistance programs in Los Angeles. You can learn about government programs, search for homes and even submit an application for pre-qualification on-line. www.GoHomeLA.com
Department of Housing and Urban Development - This federal agency provides information and financial assistance to first-time home buyers and administers the FHA loan program. www.HUD.gov
Homebuyer Educations Providers
If you can not attend one of the free, three-hour home buyer education workshops(see Free Workshops link to the left), then you can attend a workshop offered by one of the home buyer education providers listed below. Please note, these agencies may charge a fee and the course may be longer than three hours. Also, if you attend one of these courses you must still complete the Indivdual Counseling session required by the HOP program (call 562-696-3200 to schedule an appointment).
